The author
C. T. Hill
C. T. Hill is a U.S. Army Green Beret Veteran and the author of the Ashes of the Eagle series. His debut novel, The Remnant War, follows Green Beret Veteran Cal Mercer and his team of anti-human traffickers as a mission abroad exposes a threat reaching into the heart of the American republic.
Hill’s professional background spans Special Forces medicine, operational planning, and military education. He has trained and mentored soldiers, taught operational design to Special Operations personnel, and delivered advanced trauma and battlefield medical instruction. That experience shapes his approach to fiction: capable people facing difficult decisions, imperfect information, and consequences they cannot escape.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice: Homeland Security from Liberty University and a master’s degree in Project Management from Colorado State University. His work explores the bonds that hold people together when the institutions around them begin to fail.
